From Granada, we took a night train to Barcelona. This city was a bit overwhelming because there is so much to see and do there. I might have left Granada wishing we could have stayed longer, but it was more because it had a relative handful of wonderful places I could've visited every day for a year and never gotten bored with them. Barcelona has museums and cathedrals and restaurants and open air marketplaces and architecture and parks and beaches and...you get the idea. It makes a great place for tourists to visit without feeling excessively touristy. Of course, some people might disagree.

If the words are a little hard to read, the sign says, "Why call it tourist season if we can't shoot them?"

We had a really great time in Barcelona, but there were still things left that we wanted to do when it came time to leave. Of course, it didn't help that I twisted my ankle badly early in our stay.
